Delhi Fire Service

Delhi, India’s capital, is exploding with new structures and industry. With its ever-growing businesses and structures, the city is always at risk of fire. As a result, the Delhi administration makes all essential preparations to deal with any fire emergency that arises in the state. The Delhi Fire Service is in charge of dealing with any fire emergency in the city.

Since November 10, 1994, the Delhi Fire Service has been under the supervision of the Government of the NCT of Delhi. The Delhi Fire Service is a state-owned organisation that responds to fire emergencies throughout the city. In 1942, the Delhi Fire Service was established.

It was formed by the merger of two fire stations that had previously operated independently under the New Delhi Municipal Committee and the Delhi Municipal Committee.

With the motto “We Serve to Save,” the fire department attempts to make sincere efforts by responding to roughly 22000 fire and rescue calls each year to serve and protect the people of Delhi. In the National Capital Territory, the Delhi Fire Service is well-equipped to deal with any fire emergency.
