A premium Single Malt Whisky, GianChand owes its distinctive flavour and aroma to its location of origin, Jammu. GianChand is made by hand at a distillery nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, and it is characterised by a deep golden hue, a sweet and spicy flavour, and hints of peat and fruit. A single malt that is simple to drink due to its low alcohol content and silky texture.
DeVANS Modern Breweries is well-known for its broad selection of gold medal-winning beers and premium malt spirits, and its newest addition, a single malt, bears the name of the company’s founder, Dewan Gian Chand. Not only has this whisky garnered fame among whisky consumers, but it has also caught the attention of renowned whisky reviewer Jim Murray. According to the book The Bible of Whisky, GianChand is one of the best Indian single malts you can find because of its refined and delicate flavour. Sweet like pineapple drop sweets, the flavour is built on a foundation of vanilla and barley. For around Rs 4490, this is a great buy for both quiet evenings at home and wild parties with your closest pals.
