On June-14th, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has given green signal to the launch of fourth phase of housing scheme for the sale of nearly 5,000 flats for LIG, MIG & HIG categories. The selection criteria is first-come, first-serve basis from June 30 (2023) onwards.
This important decision (to provide affordable houses to wide range of prospective home buyers) was taken at a meeting of DDA members and chaired by lieutenant governor VK Saxena. According to officials, this is for the first time, the DDA had launched such a scheme in which HIG and MIG flats will also be offered on first-come, first-serve basis online.
Flats for MIG (Medium Income Group) are being offered in Dwarka and Narela. Whereas HIG (Higher Income Group) flats are being offered in Jasola. Flats for LIG and EWS are being offered in in Rohini, Narela, Siraspur and Loknayakpuram. This is being done after the LG pursued the matter of disposal of unsold DDA housing inventory.
An official said – “The scheme will facilitate people to book a flat of their choice in a preferred locality and floor by paying a token booking amount. Besides, there is no condition of not owning any plot or house in Delhi for booking these flats thereby facilitating ownership of multiple houses by members of an extended family.” It is also said that “DDA has kept the cost of most of the EWS/ LIG flats at the same rate as prevailing at the time of the Special Housing Scheme, 2021, while the rest of the flats have been kept at the price offered at 2022-23,”
In the first phase, almost 5,000 flats will be in the contention for sale. If the demand increase , more flats will be added accordingly.
DDA Housing Scheme 2023: How to apply as registration for 5,500 flats
The phase IV of DDA housing Scheme begin with registrations for 5,500 flats from 12pm on June 30, 2023.
Flat locations
As mentioned in the news above, the offered flats are located in Jasola (having 40 High Income Group or HIG flats), Dwarka (having 50 Middle Income Group or MIG flats), Lok Nayak Puram, Rohini, Siraspur and Narela.
In Narela, there are 149 MIG flats in addition to Low Income Group (LIG) and Economic Weaker Section (EWS) flats.
What is the registration fees for applying for DDA Flats 2023?
The registration fee for phase IV of DDA Housing Scheme (which included 5500 flats) will be Rs 1,000 irrespective of the kind of flat buyers are applying for.
Is this fees refundable
The fee is non-refundable.
What will happen after I submit the registration fees?
Post submitting the registration fees, the prospective buyer will get a window of 4 to 5 days to visit the sample flats (to book their choice of location / flat). To help prospective buyers, an online portal will also be launched for the purpose of booking the flats online.

Complete the online application and upload the necessary documents.
When finished, save the application number for later use after paying the application fees.
