Durga Bhawan Vaishno Devi : Can Shelter 3000 People Daily

Now devotees will not have to worry about staying in Vaishno Devi. A new complex to stay in has been built in the Vaishno Devi Bhawan Complex Area, making it easier for travelers visiting the Temple. This complex has been named Durga Bhawan and it has the capacity to accommodate approximately 3000 people daily the problem of passengers staying in the building will be solved to a great extent. This building also has facilities for refreshments and lockers etc. for the passengers and efforts have been made to fulfill all the needs of the passengers in one place. This construction has been completed in about one and a half years.

This 5 story Durga Bhawan has dormitories and rooms with washrooms, lockers, blanket stores, and Bhojanalya for a comfortable stay. This complex has both free and paid options to stay. This New Durga Bhawan was inaugurated on 22^nd March 2023. Presently there is no option for booking a dormitory or room online. People can walk in and avail of the facility offline. But sooner there will be an option for booking the accommodation online too. There are four lifts too in this building. This is truly a great gift for pilgrims visiting Vaishno Devi as there were very few places for them to stay for a few hours or overnight.
